ABOUT ABOUT

Join us during Putnam County Service Unit's World Thinking Day 2024!  Those attending will have the chance to travel around the world and sample foods and collect S.W.A.P.S from different countries.

This event will be from 10:00am - 12:30pm on Saturday, February 24.  The event will be held in the gymnasium of St John United Methodist Church in Scott Depot (4536 Teays Valley Road, Scott Depot, WV 25560).  The parking lot is to the back of the church - if you drive around the church you'll see the gymnasium and parking building.

Girl Scout registration includes: a sampling of food from around the world, a special lanyard to pin S.W.A.P.S on, and World Thinking Day 2024 badge.

Adults and Tagalongs (siblings of Girl Scouts) attending are welcome to try foods from around the world and Tagalongs can colled S.W.A.P.S.

All attending must have a ticket.  PLEASE let us know of any food allergies for all attending so we can plan accordingly.

Deadline to register is February 20, 2024.

A table will be available for Girls to complete the steps needed to earn the official 2024 Girl Scouts World Thinking Day Badge.  If girls do not earn the badge, they can still wear it on the back of their vest as a fun patch.
